Congratulations to the Conservative Party who form the UK Government. You’ve really outdone yourselves this year.

Whilst you tried and failed to provide school meals for the poorest children (thanks Marcus Rashford) you have managed to completely mismanage the public health response to the C-19 outbreak, you claimed that “taking back control” of borders was a good idea and then failed to use this power to do something sensible like controlling borders and setting up quarantine zones — places like Taiwan managed this.

You set up furlough schemes for the nice obedient PAYE taxpayers and deliberately ignored those who are self-employed or run small businesses (who ironically would be many of your voters.) When it was clear that a pandemic was coming you decided to allow the Cheltenham Festival and Champions League Match between Liverpool and Atletico Madrid to go on despite knowing that this would cause a public health disaster.

In terms of corruption you’ve proven that you absolutely look after your own (and nobody else) — PPE contracts awarded without tender to people with no background in sourcing PPE seems like a very strange way to manage a crisis. You have repeatedly failed to reward frontline workers with deserved pay rises that the majority of the country would vote for in a heartbeat. You are spineless and craven and utterly tone-deaf.

To top all this off you’ve made our country a laughing stock internationally, you’ve failed to negotiate with the EU in a serious manner or represented the interests of ALL citizens. Of course at the very last second you’ll pull a deal out of the bag to much fanfare and the BBC will robotically act as stenographers of your pathetic PR.

There’s so much more I could add. I sincerely hope that every voter in the United Kingdom takes heed of the kind of people who have been allowed to “run” our country and decide that these people should be unelectable for a generation.
